Generic Hand of the Shadow Crown

This mod creates a generic version of the Hand of the Shadow Crown hero spawned by Alith Anar's special rite. This hero is fully functional on the campaign map, and in battle, and uses official unique voice acting. On the campaign map, this hero can; scout while embedded in an army, spread public order in his local province, assault settlement garrisons, assassinate enemy agents, and assault units in enemy armies. In battle, the Hand of the Shadow Crown is competent in melee, but specializes in ambushing from range, using powerful archery, and can unlock the Snipe ability for himself and fellow shadow warriors in his army. Hands of the Shadow Crown do not have access to mounts.

They are recruitable at T3 White Lion/Sisters building (with additional capacity added at T4), and Alith Anar's special T2 shadow warrior building. They are improved by the Court Advisors Technology.

- Original Release: Hand of the Shadow Crown generic hero available to all HIgh Elf factions in campaign and in custom battles.
1/14/21
- Hand of the Shadow Crown no longer listed as campaign only in custom battles.
- Renamed the recruitment tab that houses both Handmaidens and Hands of the Shadow Crown, increasing overall polish.
3/3/21
- Hand of the Shadow Crowns should no longer default to female names.
- Hand of the Shadow Crowns now have several skills dedicated to ranged combat in their skill tree.
- Hand of the Shadow Crown recruitment moved from the Handmaiden tab to the Noble tab (names corrected accordingly).
- Hand of the Shadow Crown should now have the correct campaign action to skill (secure influence, assassinate, assault units).
This update will likely cause issues for any existing HOSC's in current save files, sorry. Please leave any feedback if any bugs or issues are found.
7/19/21
- Updated Skill Tree: Lowered focus on melee combat, increased focus on ranged combat. Added additional unique skill that improves the Hand of the Shadow Crown's agent abilities, especially assassination. Only 1 unique skill may be taken per Hand of the Shadow Crown.
- Alith Anar's "Ruthless" skill now additionally increases Hand of the Shadow Crown recruitment rank by 3.

This mod should not have any compatibility issues. This mod was created for the vanilla game, and may be unbalanced in overhaul mods.
