You may have downloaded Turmix's excellently modeled and textured Oni Hat yet have never seen it in your game since subscribing. This mod fixes that by adding it to all shops where you could buy the original Kenshi Straw Hat. Additionally the Oni Hat has been added throughout Kenshi to characters who had a taste for wearing straw hats.

The stats have been adjusted to be more Vanilla friendly and are now identical to the Straw Hat. - This can be adjusted in the future if someone has a good knack for game balance and wants to suggest stats.

While the Oni hat has been added to a vast number of characters its spawn chance is nearly always lower than the straw hat meaning your game won't be swamped by Oni Hats. Also Kenshi's poorest will not be found in the Oni hat and will be left with only the Straw hat. Additionally a few bandit groups who's straw hat was part of their look will not now wear the Oni hat.

Blue prints are common and can be bought throughout Kenshi at all the shops that stocked the straw hat blueprint. The hats can be crafted at the clothing work station after finding the blueprint.

The Hat is no longer race locked and should be open to all races who have a usable hat slot.

For those who have been looking for a release the hair version of the Oni hat click here! I tested it a bit and hair sometimes ends up poking through the top of the hat as the model rides fairly low on the head. - When I get around to learning some blender I can have a look at adjusting the hat position and perhaps scale it a bit to fix this. until then unleash the hair as you will.

For those who like small hats mods you will need to add this small hat addition click for link. it adds a 2x2 belt slot variant sold alongside the standard Oni Hat.

Get TuRmIx's Original mod Here you will need it for this patch to work. His mod is named Test_mod in the load order it will need to load before this patch. Also Check out TuRmIx's workshop page at the moment they just have one mod but here's to hoping they make some more great content!
