I can see why some modders wouldn't update, a lot changes under the hood and interest in a game waxes and wanes. Honestly I've gone off Stellaris, I tried to get back into it but wasn't having fun for reasons discussed to death, but I see some people do play so I'll keep my more popular uploads updated to any major or actually good updates.
Appreciated.
My most annoying gripe was the shipset type break, why not have the Default setting be mechanical!? So many nice/old shipsets now broken for people too afraid to touch game files.
Also thanks for making and maintaining these mods, some species packs did not get any love.
I decided not to abandon it, I will get that mod and this one to what I'm happy with then just support them.
And I have possibly just been convinced to finish the update to it, knowing someone's hype to try the mod, lol.
So in non-yapping terms, mod is mostly done and in long-term support mode. I'll do the content I'd feel bad if I didn't upload, then peace out aside functionality checks every major game version or so.
Two other things for the record.
First, I too enjoy modded Xcom. ;)
Second, programming is my weakest aspect of game design and I still figured out PDX mods, might be worth a look into if you think it'd be fulfilling. I'm one of those people who learns by reverse engineering, if that sounds like you then try it. I always give open permission to study my mods.
