This fixes Bluture's Kermit mod to be compatible on L4D1 maps - https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=889870590

Use this instead of his - I will reach out to him and encourage him to use my VPK, which if he does, you should use his and I'll take this down

To tell you the result, with the vpk file where the files were separated, the hunter became transparent and the result was not what I expected.

In your L4D2 directory go to "bin". You'll see an executable called "vpk.exe". Drag a vpk file onto it to unpack. Drag a folder onto it to pack.

Actually, I looked into how to unzip the vpk file myself, but I couldn't find a solution, so I am contacting you.
I would appreciate it if you could just tell me the recommended software and how to obtain it (URL) for unzipping and deleting vpk files.

It's possible, but I'm not gonna do it (not trying to be rude). Doing so is pretty easy if you look up how to unpackage/package mods. Basically you'd unpackage this one and in the special infected files included you'd just delete the ones that don't have _l4d1 next to the name
