Bending

It was a lot of trial and error but I believe I have finally gotten my bending mod into a working WIP (Work in Progress).
I've decided to go ahead and release this mod as it will help me progress development of the Avatar project but this is not finished. The core has been completed but I still need to work on image icons, descriptions, and possibly mess with the stats of items. It does function so thats what matters.


The bending mod replaces all ranged weapons in the game with elemental bending. No more wanky crossbows, just old fashioned rock throwing.

There are currently 3 elements in the game, Earth, Water, and Fire. (Air is to be added at a later date)
Each element has its own custom meshes and levels of mastery that go in the order of
Novice < Apprentice < Adept < Expert < Master

All Bending styles can be researched under the new "bending" tech tree, level 1 gives accesses to lower ranked bending. Tech lvl 2 gives accesses to higher level bending. All bending can be crafted with the Bending craft bench (Former crossbow bench)

Fire bending can be purchased in the Holy Nation Weapon Vendors
Water Bending can be purchased in the Swamp crossbow shops and some bars
Earth Bending can be bought in UC crossbow shops and some bars.


Firstly to rough out the edges of this mod when i get the time. Make UI look nicer, balance stats more ect.

Down the line I plan to add air bending and add bending masters that must be defeated in order to obtain rare bending styles like lighting.


So this is probably the biggest part of this mod.

The Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom Mods have both been refitted to include benders into their army compositions
Non benders still make up a majority of their forces but Benders are fierce fighters and have ranged capabilities so they offer a far more real threat.

Benders will fire at enemies from a distance or even close range, their skill and style will determine the speed and rate at which they fire at you. Closing the distance wont solve the problem however as all benders are also masters of close quarter combat, as is natural with their bending training. They're a serious threat.

As for the rest All Army comps have updated stats, Fire Bending armor has been implemented into the fire nation.
