Coca Cola Locomotive (DSG 3210)

(No. 3 of the Coke trilogy)

This engine is based specifically on the little 0-4-0 diesel shunter in a Hornby train set. Specifically a Coca Cola and Christmas themed set.

DSG 3210 is a real locomotive. She was built by Toshiba of Japan in 1982, entering service in June of that year. 3210 was the 18th engine to be built in a class of 24. Nowadays 3210 is still in service with KiwiRail, as is every other member of the DSG class.

There have been a few times where I've seen 3210 for myself:

2016 - October: on the New Plymouth port shunt
2018 - August: at Palmerston North depot
2020 - July: in Wellington yard
