"The MA5C Assault Rifle is an air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed, fully-automatic bullpup rifle that fires 7.62×51mm rounds. It possesses a built-in ammunition indicator and magnetic compass for orientation similar to that of all other MA5 series rifles. The MA5C rifle has received technical, as well as physical improvements over the MA5B rifle that include: a heavier barrel with a 1 in 7 twist; a redesigned cowling to house the electronics suite that reduces weight and increases portability of weapon; and a redesigned handguard which is sturdier and provides a more positive grip. The rifle's range and accuracy has been substantially improved over its predecessor, making it a more formidable assault rifle."

This mod replaces the M16 Rifle in L4D2 with the MA5C ICWS from Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST while using the High resolution PBR textures from The Master Chief Collection. It uses the Ma5B animations created by Du008 and Adorabirb!
Replaces the HUD ICON texture for the M16.
Replaces the M16 Sign within Whitaker's Gun shop.

@็̶̠̌͋̕☠︎a̴s̷h̷ current L4D2 modding features can't accomplish functional ammo counter features. Only way is through a hacked L4D2.exe file but that cannot be uploaded on the workshop anyways due to how the workshop itself works.

So I just got creative with alternate displays.

@™ just lots of feedback that the previous reload animation is too long and causing a delay before firing in online play. Also just adding better animations so it's on par with the other MA5 series weapons on the workshop.

I am going to make a "classic" version of the halo weapons with the original animations and lengths designed more for offline play or local.

@Vytlo funny you say that as I was just working on a MA5C for the AK47. but due to the slower fire rate I made it as a variant that has a suppressor equipped.

Is there anyway to get the MA5C (Halo 3) here as a mod for the AK? I want to have the MA5C and MA37 (Reach) replace the M16 and the AK together, but no one has made either gun for the AK in this game. Both have countless mods for the M16, but not a single one for the AK and it's very disappointing. I'd even take the MA5B (Halo CE) as either but it's in the same boat as these two guns where despite its M16 mods, it's not got a single one for the AK. They even have mods of some of these for the SMGs but none for the AK.

the model of my gun is the M16. Is there a fix to this. A lot of my gun mods that replace the M16 has the same issues.
