Initially, this mod added its own towing physics with a rope and a rigid hitch. But the developers liked this mod and they added the towing option to the game!

Mod expands and improves towing, which is added to the game.

Support for mods that add new cars

All mods that are added cars, but which have not been updated to support trailers, will work with trailers!

Added "Tow bar" item and the ability to tow a car like a trailer

Now you can tow a car and stay with unbroken trunk!
** Towing with a rope is possible without an item (like every car have tow rope)

Special towing vehicle

Added support for tow truck. The tow truck can attach a car to a hook. It is also easier to use a tow truckto remove burnt-out cars from the road.
And you can flip upright the car!

!The mod does not add a tow truck to the game!

Improved interface

Added icons for different types of cars and different types of towing. Added multilevel selection menu. The menu sees several cars at once and you can select the type of hook.

Instruction

When cars are near - open the radial menu (V key) and select to attach the car.
An object is required for towing with a tow bar. A tow bar attaches to the front of one vehicle and the rear of another.

Only feature I can get to work is 'Attach by rope'. Attaching tow bars doesn't put a 3D model and it only keep it attached by rope. Is there a load order it needs to be in?

this mod literally does nothing, every feature that it adds is either buggy or straight up doesn't work. If you're reading this, skip out on this one, you won't be missing out.

I have a problem with the mod. It works, there are objects and a "push the car" button, but when pressed, the character comes up with his hands and nothing happens. There is no handbrake button in the car.

I am curious how you are supposed to repair the rope attachment. When right clicking on the rope attachment in the mechanics screen there is no response for repair option.

This mod doesn't work like it used to/is broken. You can put the tow bar on but it will not rigid hitch to the back of the towing vehicle to make the towed vehicle act like a trailer. The towed vehicle will act like it is on a rope while still visually showing the tow bar on it's front bumper. Highly recommend you use a tow truck instead of this mod/a tow bar.
