AC-130 BETA
Thank you for waiting while we worked on this, and waiting just a bit longer for the full release! It's crazy to think that it's taken over 5 years to get it to this point.

Beta means that is this a test release so the public can assist us in finding bugs. Errors and malfunctions are quite possible. If you aren't ok with this, please wait until the full release.

If you have another issue, join and search our discord, it's probably already been addressed. If not, let us know in #ac130-bug-reports.

Origins and credits:
Pingopete joined the USAF team in 2017 and worked over a 5 year period on the spooky with the goal of bringing the most accurate spooky gunship experience to ARMA 3 possible. Textures, systems, modeling, sounds, and visual effects were built from the ground up to deliver an authentic experience to the community. This mod was brought to realization in tandem with the USAF team who provided guidance and support along the way, without the help of the USAF mod team, this mod would not be possible.

Honorable Mentions:
A massive thanks to GrandalAF who helped to produce the most realistic gunship experience possible.
Big shout out to Hate&Caffeine who worked to bring the thermal imaging mod A3TI from this project into a standalone mod.
Special thanks to slowness for his work in the object modeling of the cockpit dashboard model.
Also a thanks to warlord for the operations room model.
A huge thanks to the gunship community who provided invaluable feedback and support throughout this 5 year modding journey.

Any issues or feedback please provide on our discord at http://discord.gg/mVwyJRE

after going through their discord and changelogs i dont believe this is getting any more updates. there are some pretty severe bugs. if you are willing to deal with them go ahead but i would consider this abandoned

Restek, the aiming is spot on, the reason why shots aren't landing is becouse the guns have a traversal limit.
Rastek 22 Thg07 @ 12:39pm
Plane made out of paper, autopilot doesn't work and the aiming is either too odd or barely functional

Getting the error that the vehicle class AC-130U doesn't exist, how do I fix this?

🐞In Warlords mode, this beautiful aircraft is dropped by parachute as a ground vehicle (although it should land on the runway) and you cannot board it after landing. I believe that the vehicle type is not inherited as an aircraft, but I do not understand this. That's what the chatGPT told me.
And there is no image on the preview - errors pop up in the Warlords purchase window because of this.

im getting kicked out of the turret view, is there a known fix for that?
