Disable Old World Hero

Kuvaus
Disables the Old World Hero added by the Resistance Warrior Pack DLC.

The Old World Hero can be annoying, as it overrides the appearance and character info of one of your Barracks units, which can sometimes be from the Character Pool. This mod fixes that by "disabling" (More like reversing) their generation.

Compatibility
  • Doesn't override any Classes, should more-or-less be compatible w/ everything.

Known Issues
  • None at the moment.

To-do
  • Nothing.

@jonnyafrica You can go into your character pool from the main menu of the game and change the settings to only allow the game to pull from the character pool via a drop down button located at the bottom of the list. hope this helps

Ah ok, so I could have random soldier inserted into my character pool at any time than, even if I have a full character pool. Thanks, did not know that. I thought the game would only pull from my pool. :steamthumbsup:

@jonnyafrica That's vanilla behaviour I believe, it just means the character the old world hero replaced was a random soldier, not one pulled from your pool.

Hi, so this mod removes the old war hero but replaces it with a random soldier, but not one from my character pool. Is there something I'm missing or not doing? Thanks!

I found just changing the armor back to regular kevlar instead of resistance kevlar should revert the soldier to the standard look but I'll check this out to save myself that step. ;-)

That would be a combination of Detailed Soldier Lists and Extended Personnel Info ;)
