On February 5th, 2011, Anderson Silva defended his UFC Middleweight title at UFC 126 against fellow Brazilian, Vitor Belfort. As the fight started, both Silva and Belfort were tentative. However, three minutes into the bout, the Spider took his opponent off guard by throwing a snap front kick to the face, knocking Belfort out in yet another highlight reel moment for his illustrious career.

As an added note, I've always taken special enjoyment in this particular knockout as I was watching UFC 126 with a group of fellow martial artists, and before the event, I discussed the potential merit of high front kicks in MMA. Tthe biggest Belfort fan in the group heavily disagreed, finding them to be too risky to ever attempt with the threat of the takedown. Let's just say I was rather insufferable after that fight.
