Can you update the Old City Collection buildings to remove collision to make it easier to place tightly to each other to make variable city blocks?

The heating mechanic with this game is pretty screwy. If you build these plants too close together they break. But if you build only one it will heat about 5 ot 6 blocks no problem. If you build a second plant nearby the whole town will just freeze. Basically you can only using Block heating to heat a small area. If need to heat a larger you are better off using one of the bigger coal plants.

It does not work. I have one per 2 residential blocks which consume no more than 60m3 but the plant cannot keep up, It looks like the real capacity is way lower than 80m3 as detailed.

Yes, I remember by myself, old houses in Berlin, you heat quick but dirty ,-)).. and expansive.. but it warmed you up faster than coal...

From roughly 1925 to 1975 pretty much everyone had oil heat. Some homes are still heated with oil.

Great! reminds me on the old merchant for coal and heating oil around the corner, you could go there to buy diesel in your own 20l-canister for an oil heater.. or someone delivered it...

It causes a small amounts of pollution and is designed for heating villages and towns. Effective distance the heat travels is dependent on how many buildings are nearby. If there is nothing nearby it will spread heat up to about 200m.

Am I right that this heating plant doesn't pollute? I noticed that there are no connections for pipes, so it has to be built close to the houses, or is there a minimum distance to respect?
