What is this mod?

This mod is a custom unit mod that aims to better represent the Great God of Serpents in both custom battle and campaign. Rather than building up the pyramid in order to use a lacklustre wind spell, you can now make your way to a region on the map to recruit Sotek as a powerhouse of a unit. Well, a 'manifestation' of him anyway. 

Where do I get this unit?

There is now a landmark available to the Cult of Sotek faction to be constructed at the Fuming Serpent settlement in both the Mortal Empires and Vortex campaign maps. This landmark will allow the recruitment of all Sotek themed units across it's three tiers, ending in the Manifestation of Sotek unit at tier 3. This landmark also improves the public order and untainted in the local province as well as producing a healthy amount of sacrifices per turn for the Cult of Sotek mechanic.

The Manifestation of Sotek unit is a powerful single entity monster that can make quick work of large groups of infantry with it's fast attacks and bound summon ability. The down sides being you may only recruit one of these units and that any lord other than Tehenhauin will have to pay double the recruitment cost and upkeep costs for an already expensive unit.

Is this mod OP?

It certainly makes the Cult of Sotek campaign easier however I don't believe you'll find that this mod breaks the balance of the campaign too much. I'm open to balance suggestions if there are any.

Why do I need Mixu's Unlocker?

Mixu's Unlocker is absolutely essential to use the unit in campaign as it allows for a landmark to exist at the Fuming Serpent region.

No complaints about the unit really. It's just that this one is a unit so it occupies a slot. Also it would be more thematic to Tehenhauin if he could summon the Wrath of Sotek as needed in battles instead of Sotek's avatar just following him and his army around like if it was a normal being.

If that is possible, I and many other people would be very grateful really.

I mean there is nothing forcing you to recruit the unit and the AI shouldn't be likely to field them either. Is there need for a whole other version of the mod?

Is there a way to just convert the ability you unlock from the altar of sotek to summon this beast instead of it being a magic spell?

Not digging the mixu's unlocker requirement tbh.
