Ambition of the Cosmic
The base mod. You MUST have this installed and enabled for SNS: YGTF to work.

AOTC: True Pinnacle of Creation
The 4th-gen addon for AOTC, which is intentionally highly overpowered. Excluding the Utopia Device and Monument, all Pinnacle of Creation rewards have been moved to this mod.

Oh, and please note that anything in quotation marks are canonical to the lore of the civilization that made the cosmic stuffs in the base SNS: AOTC, and are in fact lore expansions on their backstory/their society/their techlevel/etc.


Welcome, to AMBITION OF THE COSMIC: YOU'RE GOING TOO FAR! This mod is an edgy reskin of AOTC but with some extra lore added on top for your pleasure.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS MOD DEPENDS ON SNS: AOTC TO WORK! NOTHING WILL HAPPEN IF YOU LOAD SNS: YGTF WITHOUT AOTC!

Below is what's changed in this reskin mod.

* Many descriptions have been changed.
* Many names have been changed, including but definitely not limited to the renaming of anything Cosmic to Abyssal.
* Bonus lore of the past of the mysterious Ancients that originally made Cosmic Alloy (called Abyssal Alloy in this reskin.)

So according to some light testing, and some video play throughts on youtube, it looks like this "might still work in 1.5. People may need to edit things using RIMMSqol to edit some settings depending on your active modlist, but it shouldn't be impossible.

The following mods seem to work this way, and will have this message posted in their comments for others to see.

A additional note for people who read this whole comment, yes it is still going to throw up errors about it not being labeled 1.5, you will just have to live with those or edit the files yourself.

Hmmmmm use the base one and conquer the heavens or conquer the void and abyss what to do, what to do. Eh screw it reskin you're going into the modpack!

It just does. YGTF is a reskin mod, so it only overwrites texture files. As long as you make sure YGTF loads after TPOC, YGTF will work perfectly.

New assemblies were used for the 1.3 and 1.4 versions that changed the XML tags I used for armor and research.

It's sad this mod is no longer 1.2 compatible.
You probably updated these mods to 1.3 and 1.4 only for a good reason, but you may also be ruining peoples' older save games too.

I use 1.2, I do not want to update, and if I didn't save the earlier versions of these (Science Never Stops) mods I would have been in trouble.

Even though I do not have the steam subscription versions active, the update still throws errors once the game has loaded into the menu screen due to the changes made here.

Well not anymore, but that was confusing. I thought it was another mod I had just installed at first.
