The Timurids are led by Timur.

Leader Trait: Timurid Renaissance
When Timur is at War against a Major Civilization, Inspirations and Eurekas grant 75% of the Civic and Technology's cost instead of 50%. Also Patronizing Great People costs 33% less Faith or Gold.

Civilization Trait: Mirror of the World
Trade Route cannot be plundered by enemy units. Receive a free Inspiration upon building a Commercial Hub. Your Trading Posts at international destinations grant +2 additional Gold.

Unique Unit: Sarbadar Militia: Timurid's unique unit that replaces the Courser. It has a lower maintenance cost and doesn't require a strategic resource. This Unit pushes back enemies if it does more damage than it takes when attacking. Defenders that cannot be pushed back take additional damage.

Unique Improvement: Mausoleum: Poetry unlocks the Builder ability to construct Mausolea, unique improvement to the Timurids. It is buildable on flat lands without feature. +1 Culture. +1 Faith. +2 Appeal. A City with at least 1 Mausoleum receives +1 Great Writer Point. Cannot be constructed adjacent to one another.

Agenda: Cultural Jewel
Likes civilizations who neglect the recruitment of Great People, and will recruit Great People whenever possible. Dislikes civilizations with more Great People than him.

CSE Samarqand is replaced by Chogha Zanbil.
Firaxis Samarkand is replaced by Afrasiyab.
The Great General Timur is replaced by Tokhtamych.
