This version has less variation in skyboxes, I absolutely recommend using the version of the mod that is not achievement compatible if you dont mind that (Check the links below)

This mod, changes the skybox textures of each star system for the vanilla game. Many other mods do this, but what sets this mod apart from the others is the environment maps included with this modpack. If you examine the screenshots, you might notice that the ships reflect the actual environments that they're currently in and I feel this adds a whole new level of atmosphere to the game.

- IS Achievement compatible
- IS save game compatible
- Not compatible with Beautiful Universe (It's intended to be an alternative to this)

Abosolutely Gorgeous.
I'm using this on my achivement run and the game is much more vivid now. I specially love that the ships are reflecting the color(s) of the solar system they are in.
It is now a must have mod on my setup.

Or do you mean compatibility? I only overwrite vanilla worldgfx files

I compress with ycocg for the sky box and dtx1 for the environment map
