This mod seems to work with v3.9, but it appears to default to Ignore Engineering, which is problematic from the point of view of someone whose intent is to assemble a mod pack for use in Social/Roleplay multiplayer games

One cannot assume that all the players in such a game will be aware of all the mods in the mod pack and what they each do, and so mods that gives options to each players should default to those options that are close to vanilla. It is not good if one such player, 30-40 years into the game, suddenly realizes that his Research has been skewed when that was not his intent, because of a mod defaulting to a very unexpected setting.

5/10/2023 any plans to update this after the update yesterday and/or does it still work with the latest version of Stellaris? I have an already REALLY good build/race for research but it could still benefit greatly from this mod.

And if it does, can I enable the mod in an on-going game? I'm 130 or so years in, and I've hit Repeatables in one category, so it'd be neat to be able to focus. Or will I have to start a new game?
