This mod adds different versions of the class 52 to the game. The class 52 locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn are the best-known war locomotives. They were built in 1942 in more than 7000 copies.

Technical data of the class 52:
- Top Speed: 50 mph
- Power: 1177 kW / 1192 kW
- Tractive Effort: 205 kN / 216 kN
- Availability: From 1942 to 1992

Sehr schöne Modelle, nur das Kaufmenü im Spiel sieht irgendwie verbuchselt aus. Kann ggf. am neusten update liegen(?)

Da steht das die Lok ab 1942 verfügbar ist, aber nicht das alle Versionen auch ab da verfügbar sind. Das wäre auch völlig unlogisch da es 1942 weder DDR noch BRD gab.
Die Versionen sind im Spiel zu den Jahren verfügbar zu denen sie auch in der Realität verfügbar waren.

okay, die Versionen der DB und DR sind erst ab 1949 Verfügbar und nicht wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben ab 1942

Mir werden ingame leider nur 2 der 4 verschiedenen Ausführungen angezeigt. Alle Varianten sind als "Anzeigen" markiert und das Jahr ist 1947. Muss ich noch etwas beachten?

Hi MaikC,

The TE was calculated using the following formula:

TE = (c *P *(d)^2*s) / D

c = a constant determined by the mean effective pressure and friction (usually 85%)
P = boiler pressure
d = piston diameter
s = piston stroke
D = driver diameter

and using the following data from the BR 52 Locomotive:

Boiler Pressure: 232 psi (16 bar)
Driver diameter: 1400 mm
Cylinder diameter: 600 mm
Piston stroke: 660 mm
________________________

TE = 23,530 kgf = 230 kN

Since you can easily calculate the traction effort of the locomotive from the given technical data, I can tell you that 230kN are wrong. So there is no update necessary ;-)

Excellent mod, however the tractive effort should be 230 kN according to https://www.steamlocomotive.com/locobase.php?country=Germany&wheel=2-10-0&railroad=dr#1295

Would be cool with an update :)

Plant ihr mal die preußisch G10 zu implementieren? War ja in Europa nach der BR52 die meistgebaute Dampflok.

Würde mich echt freuen.
