描述

This is a release of a Pain Elemental from Doom Eternal.

The port features materials work, aiming to bring it closer to ingame appearance, non glowing skin variant.

The port also features arm bones to renamed to valvebip standard for easier posing, as well as custom IK-rig.

Additionally, the model makes full use of the gore/damage system.

To use said system properly, a combination of flexes and bodygroups is required.

Last, but not least, the model also features all of Pain Elemental's 100 original ingame animations, which can be loaded in by importing sequences.

Main model features a series of flexes that make it work around with wound meshes of orrelating name, so if you use GoreHand flex, and activate GoreHand bodygroup, you shall get the intended visual effect.

@KaasKnager You're going to want to decompile it, since MDL files only really work with Source stuff - I suggest using Crowbar, which will convert it into a Blender file. I assume you have to convert it from a .blend file into whatever software you use to connect to a 3D printer, but if that's not possible, I don't know how to help you. You might want to fiddle with the model a bit in Blender anyway, since it's actually several models connected together via bodygroups, which is how they got the gore system to work.
