Update:
There's always problems with the workshop system.
The most consistent way to use mods so far is to use a custom folder so far.
I would suggest everyone to use this guide to create one:

Heyooo, so I made some new animations for the Shotgun.

The old one does have problem with the shells appearing when loading.
And I thought before that I lost the files, but, once the animation has been completed...
I fricking found it...

What luck.

Thank you very much for this. I first played HL on my dad's PS2 and it had the HD graphics. I get why the devs used the MP5 and stockless SPAS but playing with HD guns feels right to me.
