Your Custom Heresy

You can create your own heresy with this mod using the reformation mechanic of Holy Fury. After creating it, you will get a bloodline and a nickname. Also, you will be able to choose a name for it based on your name, culture or your realm's name.


Creating your religion can be done like this:

1. Get the Disorganized Heretic religion with the Heretic Thoughts decision or somehow else. - It's called Old Disorganized Heretic in the game but unfortunately I can do nothing about that.
   
2. Optional: Declare your capital a holy site. - You can replace any holy site (except Jerusalem). Your capital holding will become your holy site.
   
3. Reform your religion when you can. - The requirements are 40% moral authority, 1 holy site and 2000 piety. Since these cannot be set for each religion, pagan reformation requirements were also changed to these.
   
4. Name the religion. - There are four options: the first one is based on your first name, the second one is based on dynasty, the third one is based on your culture and the fourth one is based on your realm's name.
   
5. Choose a name for the religious head (if you have one). - You can see the options in one of the screenshots.

After that, you can earn another bloodline if you write a holy book for your religion. The decision to do it requires you to have 20 learning and 1000 piety. Writing the book takes a half year.

There are some issues because neither Christian religions nor heresies were meant to be reformed and also because I did this mod to experiment with modding the game. So don't be surprised if you find bugs, but I'll try to fix what I can.

• The name of the heresy before the reformation will be Old Disorganized Heretic. I tried to, but couldn't remove the Old from it.
  
• Autonomous leadership causes issues like branches not working, or holy sites not showing correctly. I'll try to fix these issues. - I left this here because while holy sites now work, branches still don't. I'll fix them too.
  
• The religon screen will show a random priest as a religious head before you reform the heresy. You can ignore this, because he will do nothing and disappear after reformation.
  
• The reformation alert is a black circle because Christian religions don't have a reformation alert.This is a very small thing and can also be safely ignored, but I'll try to make an icon for this.
  
• The title of the religious head will just be [Heretic_Religious_Head] on the religion tab, but he will have the correct name everywhere else. This is because GUI-s usually doesn't like custom localisation.

Should be compatible with most mods. The only incompatible should be the mods that change the requirements for reformation (in vanilla it's 50% MA, 3 holy sites and 750 piety, in this mod it's 40% MA 1 holy site and 2000 piety) and total conversion mods.
