"Drive me closer I want to hit them with my sword"

This mod adds in Steam Tanks as mounts.

Description
Boris Todbringer and any General of the Empire can get a steam tank as a mount at level 20.

Steam tank mounts have both their steam turret and passenger supplying fire power! Their main cannons are the same as regular Steam Tanks. Also regular steam tanks are left untouched by this mod.

I've also included a non-Lord version of the steam tank mount, available in custom battles.

Credit/Permission
3d modelling and texturing is the work of ChaosRobie.
The original Steam Tank model and textures were done by CA.

Massive thanks to phazer, their RMEditor tool is the cornerstone of all my modding. Literally none of this would be possible without their hard work.

The Steam Tank is a Games Workshop IP.

Anyone can add this unit to their mod, just give me credit.

This works with Cult of Ulric, F###in Toddy, and General of the Empire with pistol, just has to be at the very bottom of the list. With Cult of Ulric, its description and text are buggy. The General of the Empire with pistol doesn't have the steam tank as predicted (due to said mod using its own General of the Empire skill tree duplicate).

Overall a very good mod that manages to work very well with my other mods. (I have it at the bottom of my load order.)

Would it be possible for someone to make a compatibility patch with this and Mixu's Legendary Lords 1? Since that mod overrides Boris' skill tree he can't get the mount.

And before you say "do it yourself" I can't mod.

Thanks for the good answer. What I want is to give the imperial champions a tank in the same way as Boris. I would like to have a lot of modes for champions. I don't speak English, the question used a translation app.

There's a problem with having heroes/lords ride mounts where the mount can fire projectiles. If the lord/hero has a projectile ability (which is always possible because of items in campaign) and you activate it, the mount starts firing that projectile non-stop. So that's why the Master Engineer mod was switched to use the Von Zeppel tank, it doesn't fire projectiles.

This mod (Steam Tank Mounts) still has the regular tanks, and it still has that ability-projectile problem, but I can live with it here.

Thank you so much for creating an interesting mode.
I'm using Imperial Master Engineer mode but their tanks don't satisfy me.
I want to give the champion of the empire a good tank. I hope so. It's a little weaker than a regular tank, but I want it to have a similar function. I wish I could, but I can't. So let me ask you a favor. Because you can do it.
