Land Encounters (Discontinued)

This mod adds the mechanic of the map markers you can usually find at sea, to land. It modifies all the dilemmas to have land equivalents, and instead of using Vampire Coast as the faction the player will face, the hostile faction is Bandits, who can be either Dark Elf, Empire, Greenskin, Norsca, Skaven or Wood Elf, chosen randomly with each encounter.

The rewards are similar in nature but lowered compared to the ones at sea given that being at land you can still capture settlements and so on, so as a balancing measure, gold rewards are lowered, and effects from the treasures from the land markers are for 5 turns instead of 10 as they are on their sea equivalents. I tried it with 10 at first but it resulted being buffed for way too long for buffs you could pick up on the way to attacking something, rather than being far apart most settlements at sea.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod should work with most other mods, cant think of anything it would be incompatible with.
Savegame compatible, you can activate it at any moment, the first time you end turn it will populate markers around the world.
Now works both for Mortal Empires and Vortex.

It might still function but you are better off not trying it, as I cant test to make sure its working as intended. I havent got the time anymore to update my mods unfortunately, but they are up for grabs if anyone wants to continue them and make their own versions, anyone is allowed to do anything with any part of any mod I made.
