XenoTech Industries - Black Hole Power Core

Say hello to the most overpowered 'generator' you'll ever need! The large block version generates 500,000 GW endlessly, and the small 500 GW! These both require no fuel. They are both 5x5x5 for their respective grids. However, you will need an inbetween of a battery just so that your ship will work properly, for some reason they don't like going directly off of the Power Core.

Large components:
Steel Plate Count=15000
Construction Count=500
Metal Grid Count=300
Power Cell Count=500
Superconductor Count=500
Computer Count=149
Steel Plate Count=2000

Small components:
Steel Plate Count=800
Construction" Count=50
Metal Grid Count=60
Power Cell Count=100
Superconductor Count=100
Computer Count=25
Steel Plate Count=400

Update #1: Increased cost
Update #2: Decreased power output, large used to be 50,000,000, small used to be 5,000.
Update #3: New model (now has 'lightning') & GUI icon, added White Nova Variant.

Go ahead, I don't really care if someone uses my stuff as a base for theirs so long as I get properly credited, and on top of that, I'm not sure if I'll ever return to this game, the style and gameplay just got too repetitive for me after a while.

can I use this mod for my own modding and upload it in some point in time I will give full credit to you well sense you made it I just up the power to 99 billion yottawatts and made it smaller to 1 block and WAY MORE expensive

I am working on weapons and thrusters to go with this, as well as my own armor ramps, so that almost everything is covered under the xenotech name. that does not mean you can't grab other stuff as well, it's just I want to create one big masterpack.

Also, I have it named as the Black Hole Power Core instead of Singularity Core just to keep in theme with the other Black Hole blocks I have/am creating, including the Black Hole Laser cannon, which has broke every time I tried to use it and is shelved for now.

I'll get back to modding soon, I just need to take a break from it as I currently am having trouble with finding a new job.

would you be interested in designing exotic alien weaponry that could only be powered by this or another alien reactor i for one would like to see that as it would both be epic and fair as you would not see a bunch of tiny ships with big alien guns being powered by vanilla reactors

bsimp14, that was the concept behind its creation, yes, but the actual programming made it into a no-fuel reactor. fireflyflame27, I haven't figured out a way to fix the power output number, I think the game doesn't understand that it is outputting because it's not receiving an input.

50M GW?? That's carzy. The biggest ship I'm working on is expected to be more than happy with 1000 GW, and even that's a lot...

you should see if you can find a script that allows you to add special effects and animations.

There is this one person named Klime that seems to know how to do it as he/she has appeared in mods that have something animated.
