Armor Racks

描述
NOTE: There will be no further updates to this mod. Check out its Odyssey version, Outfit Stands Plus, instead.

Adds a variety of armor racks that help you store and equip your armor in a better way.

At the moment there are 3 types of armor racks:
- Vanilla rack that stores equipment and provides slightly faster equip time
- Mechanized rack that dramatically improves equip time (requires Microelectronics and own research)
- Mending rack that also slowly repairs things it stores (requires Fabrication and own research)

Check out mod settings for some helpful options.

How to use
1. Build a rack, configure it via Storage tab, wait for colonists to haul things to it
2. Assign it a colonist via Set Owner dialog
3. Oh ♥♥♥♥ it's a raid! Draft your colonist and use the Equip from rack command. Your colonist will run to their rack and grab the items from it
4. Once it's over, use the Transfer to rack command (selected automatically after Equip or manually by rightclick) to put the items back

Mod compatibility
Should be safe to add to, or remove from existing saves.
Should work fine with multiplayer mod.
Should be compatible with custom races based on Humanoid Alien Races 2.0.

FAQ
Q: Colonists haul things to a rack, but won't haul things from it, is this a bug?
A: Not a bug, armor racks work based on container logic from base game, and things inside containers are not haulable (grave is an example of a container)

Q: Items on the racks are not visible / do not count towards 'do until X' crafting settings, is this a bug?
A: No, see above

Q: Colonists start removing the equipment they got from racks when undrafted, what to do?
A: Mod settings has an option for racks to set apparel as forced, this probably would help

Q: Racks don't work properly with [HAR-based alien race mod], please fix?
A: Please ask that mod's author for a compatibility patch. Most likeky they have overriden something from BasePawn in their custom defs.

Known bugs
- Loading caravans with racks that have equipment on them causes heavy lag and lots of errors. Unload equipment from the racks first
- Ammo from Combat Extended disappears when added to a rack

I made this mod for my own use but decided to publish it in case someone else needs it. If you find any bugs or have a suggestion feel free to leave a comment or make a thread.
You can get the source code from Github[github.com] or from the mod's Steam folder. You are free to use it in your own mods as long as you credit my work.

1.6 is so unstable for me with literally any mods. 1.4 works great, but giving 1.5 another shot. Thanks for keeping this available.

Excited to try this mod, I have a few questions on how it works.

1) I'll need to configure the storage on the racks for every item in both sets of equipment I plan to use with the pawn?
2) Will the pawn swap out lower quality armor for better quality as it becomes available? For example if for combat I have flak plants (normal) on the stand, will the pawn swap it for flak pants (excellent) if there's a spare one lying around or will I have to manually have the pawn equip the better one and then tell them to swap sets?
3) If I set up the sets in apparel policy, and then swap the pawn to that policy, will they then equip everything on their armor stand provided the items are there or will they grab random items from the storage room?
4) I have an item that's shared between the sets, will the pawn put it on the stand when they swap sets?

Has anyone done a retexture of this? The textures are a little dated.

Is there an alternative to the armor racks until the fix? I can ignore the errors but the more armor racks on the screen will slow the game down. This and Kijin Race 3.0 don't seem to work together and removing Kijin Race 3.0 breaks the save. Playing Rimworld without the ability to suit up is downright madness.
