Liberatia is a country from a Youtube series I've taken part in few years ago. It has a special place with me and re-creating it in W&R:SR was a pleasure and a honor

Quick Description:

Terrain - West and North are mountainous with evergreen forests, East is rather flat with deciduous forests and farms, South is a coastline
Populated - several historical cities (some of them still have their defensive walls) and plenty of villages, no industry, no modern buildings, keeping the spirit of the original game
Points of Interest - Central highlands rich on coal and iron, lower parts of the main river rich on oil, three castles and a Water reserve
Churches - some cities have more than one, makes it a little bit easier to expand them I think
Challenge - I wouldnt say it's a difficult map. Resources are plentyful and nicely scathered around, yet I think I didnt do it too abundant. I hope you'll have fun!

Roleplay/Story set-up:

After the 2nd World war Liberatia fell from its former imperial glory to only a shadow of itself, a decade passed and life conditions of its citizens did not raise a single bit. Eventually, people started to turn againts their emperor Franz III. von Hasberg and the national assembly (a proto-parliament), and the late 1950's raised a revolutionary spirit. After a peaceful protest in the streets of the capital city Hasberg was violently crushed by the imperial guard, people stopped wanting to reform the current government, but instead wanted its and emperor's death. In November 1959 the people stormed the Hasberg Castle and captured the emperor, sent messages about the capital's takeover around the country and more people joined the revolt for a better life. Throughout November numbers of revolutionaries raised so much the imperial guard lost every battle. They rather escorted members of the national assembly away from the country and never returned. In December a new socialist government was formed, the emperor sentenced to death and by the end of the year the government elected the new president - YOU. Your time in office starts 1st of January 1960 and the fate of the nation lies upo you. Will you embrace it's history and tradition or will create a socialist realism paradise? Will you rely on others help and trade or will you become fully self-sufficient? Eyes of the world look up to you and your starting reign. Don't disappoint us, President!
