描述

Enjoy your stay in this luxury hotel that is an Amsterdam landmark. It will look best placed next to a public square or park.

The American Hotel first opened in 1881 at the Leidseplein in Amsterdam, but the building quickly proved too small and was replaced in 1902 by a design of architects Willem Kromhout and H.G. Jansen. Featuring a bell tower, mosaics, and many different balconies, it is a great example of Dutch Art Nouveau (or Jugendstil) architecture. It was protected as a national monument in the 1970's.

I’d like to ask if I could change your asset into a Hotels and Retreats DLC hotel?
Obviously, with references to your original creation (same way as here , here , here , and here ) or even as adding you as the co-author (which is a bit misleading as it should be the other way around ;))

Epic Lurker, thank you so much for all the beauty you have given us... Unfortunately, we can no longer enjoy it. Could you or someone else, update your extraordinary buildings, so that we could savour them once more?

Asset report says the error is in American Hotel Rear. The name has been probably changed by the author of the asset. @Epic Lurker, could you please check? Thanks!

Hi Epic Lurker, this asset has stopped working for me after the last upgrade of Cities (same as a few more like Magna Plaza and Nova Church). Do you know why? Thanks!
