Fairy Entities

The original SENT addon by NekRes (which was based on CapAdmin's fairy idea) became unusable after a certain point between 2018-2019 due to a lua error regarding the fairies' ability to take online conversations from a website. This addon fixes and changes some of the features Battle Fairies had.

These fairies are based on the Legend of Zelda Fairies.

The Fairy Entities will be able to be found in "Entities > Fairy Entities". The entities include the NPC Fairy and the Player Fairy.

I'm aware this addon has some of its own issues, but its original goal was to make the original addon usable in the first place.

NPC Fairy

- If there's more than one fairy in the map and they're close enough, the fairies will attempt to flock next to each other.

- Each fairy has 100 HP. They cannot be hurt by almost all prop or world physics.

- NPCs will pay no attention to these fairies, regardless of their NPC relationship status (ie. Combine, Rebel).

Player Fairy

- Movement controls are identical to most of a regular player's controls.

- Unlike NPC Fairies, Player Fairies are essentially armed with a gravity gun at all times. Left click hits a prop, and right click drags one.

- NPCs (ie. Combine, Rebel) will pay attention to Player Fairies and react accordingly.

NPC / Player Changes

- Fairies no longer share conversations with each other. The removal of this feature was necessary in the first place because it used an outdated lua code to connect to the internet.

- The above change also means the addon fully functions on its own offline now.

- Fairies no longer laugh when other fairies crash into something. At the moment they don't laugh at all, but I think it's a better tradeoff in return for not having every single fairy on the map laughing at once. I may come back to this function later.

- Fairies no longer bleed when they crash into the world or any props. It was misleading because they don't get damaged at all despite the blood decals implying otherwise. (They still bleed if they receive a handful of damage.)

- Player Fairies' held props no longer shrink in size due to a weird lua error. I'm aware the existence of this function could be helpful, so I may come back to this one later.

- All sounds the fairies make were lowered in volume.

- Removed the "flesh collision" sounds fairies made when they collide into something.

- Removed the ":O" faces the fairies had.

- Modified some of the sounds used.
