Advanced Energy Cannons

This mod adds 4 new energy-based weapons (both small and large grid variants). Some do regular damage, while others can affect targets in other ways. The weapons do not use conveyors, and instead generate their own ammunition by using available grid energy. If the needed energy is not available, then the weapon will try to draw a smaller amount to properly charge, but this will take longer. The large grid variants typically draw more energy, but also deal greater damage than their small grid counterparts. All weapons currently have a range of 800m

• Laser Cannon: This weapon fires a blue beam in the direction of its target and deals regular damage.
  
• Explosive Laser Cannon: This weapon fires a yellow/orange beam that creates an explosion on contact with a target.
  
• Tesla Cannon: This weapon fires a bolt of electricity that will disable a small number of blocks on the grid it hits. The large grid variant can potentially disable more blocks than the small grid variant.
  
• Shield Buster Cannon: This weapon fires a multi-colored beam that will severely reduce (small grid variant) or overload (large grid variant) any grid shields on a target grid. This weapon is fairly expensive to charge and fire. Compatible shield mods for this effect are Defense Shields and Energy Shields. For compatibility purposes, you should use the versions of the mod(s) published by the original authors (DarkStar and Cython).

This mod runs on a scripted weapon platform I've been developing known as the Custom Energy Weapons System[github.com]. If you experience any bugs or unintended behavior with the mod, please report it here. If the mod causes any sort of crashing, please paste a link to the log file. Reports of crashes without a log file provided will likely be ignored, since it's nearly impossible to track the source of the crash without it.
