解説
This is the official version of Independent Architecture and Units mod bought to you by Omkar Satapathy built on Patch 5.8 with the blessing of St Michaels. It updates this (old 5.7 version) much demanded mod.

NOTE: It is very important to make sure the "Independent Architecture and Units" DAT Mod has a lower Mod Priority than any architecture or unit mods.

You need at least one of the DLCs to use this mod since it is built on Expansion Dataset.

Separate graphics for elite versions of all unique units... has been disabled. I knew it was too controversial!

Independent architecture is available for all 31 civilizations.
Independent units are available for each of 23 different regions.

Some Troubleshooting Notes

For loading Saved Games for Skirmish, Standard Games or Campaigns using IA, you need to "Pre-Load" Independent Architecture first or else it will crash AoE2HD. There is a more detailed tutorial on the Main Mod Page, but for a short guide here, you just have to start a new Standard Game with IA Selected. Then you should be able to load the save game without problems.

It may take some time to load up the mod on first launch, since there are large number of units and Buildings that the game needs to register. Once loaded the game runs fine.

For me, the mod hasn't worked for some time : it remains stuck on the original buildings and units, whatever civilizations. What manipulation could I do ?

There is no reason for the mod to break if the game hasn't received any new updates after 5.8

The IA with Units for 5.8 may not be working on the campaigns other than the DLC campaigns, especially The Age of Kings and The Conquerors campaigns; I'm afraid...
