This is a small extension to the available LCD images in Space Engineers. The aim is to add a couple of fairly general images as the vanilla game is fairly limited in this area. They are all styled after the pre patch 1.90 LCD images with the aim of fitting seamlessly into the game.

AQD - A Quantum of Depth is a project of mine, encompassing multiple small and larger mods aimed at improving the gameplay experience and eventually overhauling larger parts of the game:





Eleven new LCD images in the style of the existing vanilla images
From left to right and top to bottom:
  • Welder
  • Grinder
  • Drill
  • Flammable
  • Depressurized
  • Electricity
  • Pressurized
  • Medical
  • Nuclear
  • Biohazard
  • Warning Stripes

  • As I prefer the LCD image style from before patch 1.90, I've included the old LCD textures for the images already contained within the game and thus overwrite them with the old ones. This also means that I don't need to redo all of my LCD images.
  • The welder and grinder symbols are styled after the ingame ship tools. I tried using the hand tools at a base but didn't like the result. I may redo the drill one in line with the other two in the future.
  • I may extend the images available in the future. If you have any suggestions, you're very much welcome to post them for me to consider but the idea of this is a fairly limited mod. I'm not aiming to add dozens of images with this.

@enenra : yes you are right, later in the game the response slowed again, it was not this mod... sorry. I removed all new installed mods to check again.

Response time is not something this mod can affect. It only adds some more images, there are no script changes contained within that could cause that.

The changed default LCD images are intended and described in the mod page above.

Sorry but when I use this MOD, I got a very slow response on displays, as well LCD's and the cockpit screens, I first noticed this with SAMv2. by deactivating this mod the issue was gone, also I got strange edges round existing arrows.

Great to have more icons :) But any chance you can enable background colours on the new icons? I kind of liked being able to put a danger icon with a red background with the vanilla one.
