Drongos Simple Factions

tl;dr Hezbollah, IDF, ISIS, Taliban, Boko Haram, Abu Sayaf, African Militia, Cartel, SWAT/cop units, Caucus Fighters, HTS, SAA, Militia, CIA, Iraqi army and PMF, Hamas, Afghan National Army, Ukraine militia, LDPR militia, Ukraine Armym Wagner PMC, Chechens, US militia no addons required. To use the factions as OPFOR, no DLC is required, but some factions require DLC if used as player units.

This is a small set of simple factions with no dependencies on other mods. The mod includes IDF, ISIS, Taliban, Boko Haram, Abu Sayaf, African Militia, Cartel, SWAT/cop units, Caucus Fighters, HTS, SAA, Militia and CIA factions. Obviously some compromises had to be made to avoid 3rd-party dependencies. As such, some units use weapons Bohemia weapons instead of the real-world system (for example, the Titan AA launcher instead of Stingers). Other systems are just reconfigured Bohemia assets (for example, the Namer is just a renamed IFV-6c). The mod includes some dishdashas and pakols imported from Arma 2 and some retextured uniforms and shemags. There are also some headbands with hidden selections.

The IDF config has some comments which may be useful for people new to modding. I encourage anyone who wants to get started modding to try editing the configs (to give the units their preferred weapons and vehicles, for example). I will be able to provide some support. The mod is provided under APL-SA.

A more expanded version of this mod is my Middle East Conflict mod (which requires CUP and Teriyaki's Uniforms) or my World In Conflict mod (which requires RHS and Teriyaki's Uniforms).
