There are some things which annoy me, but I doubt it can be modded. At least not easily. For example the description of the game itself says that the longer there's human presence in the area the further away animals will move. It works with non-predator animals. While bears, foxes and wolves annoyingly move around my village constantly. It looks funny at least. To mod predator AI in order to make them sneaky could be interesting. Like foxes and wolves do can enter a village only at night, take some chicken and RUN away back to forest. Something of that sort ... Anyway I know it's hard. Too many 'if' and 'then' functions.
Religion might be cool. Like two-sided coin. Yes it raises happiness but when some disaster happens it kills women as witches, even children
* SORRY if I am annoying. Just say 'shut up' and I will. Really. No problem
