This is probably my favourite addition. It is extremely useful.

I didn't notice the "More Info" part of the post before my initial post.
To sum it up it makes an employee (for lack of a better word) much easier to find

Have you tried clicking on the "More info" link?

Have you tried to build a station and hire skilled personnel and specialists for it? Try to use "Find personnel" and "Find specialists" tools for it and you will understand what it does.

Have you ever tried to find such a ship you need for boarding?

Have you ever tried to find a forgotten marine commander?

I don't really understand what this mod does
