Add tablets, books, scrolls, libraries, and more to your RimWorld playthroughs.

RimWriter is a mod that adds a lot of content focused on writing to supplement the standard vanilla RimWorld playthrough such as:

-Items
* Stone Tablets
* Leather Scrolls
* Journals
* Handwritten Books
* Typed Books and Journals
* Skillbooks for improving skills

-Furniture
* Stone shelves for tablets
* Scrollcases, tall and short
* Bookcases, tall and short
* Writer's tables
* A typewriter

-Features
* Customized text generation for tablets, books, and journals.
* Compatiblity with Lord of the Rims and Call of Cthulhu mods.
- In Call of Cthulhu, writing reduces sanity loss over time.
- Future compatability with storing Grimoires and Wizard textbooks inside bookcases/scrollcases.

Q&A:
Why create this mod?
I wanted to make a framework sort of mod that I could add to or use later in my current and future projects. I feel that tablets, scrolls, and books all have a clear place in RimWorld and future mods.

Is this mod old save compatible?
Yes.

Does this mod conflict with other joy mods?
No.

Is there any mod where you can rename the books?

Here's what you need if you're looking for an update.
As mentioned by others, the industrious Mlie , who adopts abandoned mods for Rimworld, has updated it >>> RimWriter <<<

As I don't use this mod, here are links to the ones I do that are related to it: Vanilla Books Expanded from the creators of the Vanilla Expanded series, and its unofficial add-on Vanilla Books Expanded Expanded by Ben Lubar (also maintained by Mlie).
The FAQ in VBE's page states it's compatible with RimWriter, though they overlap - read the description.

So funny to see people using big words they don't understand.

Definition of entitled : [www.collinsdictionary.com]
1. having a title or name
2. having the right or permission to do something
3. behaving as if having special privileges

Follow-up: check your privilege .

Mod authors are not required to create, alter, update or support mods. It's their work, their time and effort spent on something they decide to share with others, usually free of charge. They are entitled to their choice. They're people, they have lives, they move on.
Mod authors are under no obligation to you, full stop.

Feel entitled to a mod that's no longer maintained, doesn't work or never existed? As good a time as any to go learn how it's done and make it yourself.
Whether you upload it, and then maintain it, is up to you.
