It is the year 1857. Japan is in turmoil! After a visit of the United States Navy under the command of commodore Perry in 1853. The Tokugawa Shogunate was obliged to sign the Kanagawa Treaty. Giving The USA exceptional rights in Japan. By this fixed (low) prices for export/import duties that benefited only the American nation. The economy broke down in Japan and many former loyal clans where starting to plot against the Shogun and the foreign powers. Because shortly after the treaty, the British Empire and France signed similar treaties with the Shogunate.
The beginning of the end for the Shogunate or just a small rebellion?

Play as one of the 3 main Western Powers (France, United Kingdom and United States of America) and defend your right to trade in Japan!
Play as one of the pro Imperial clans and defeat all that stands in your way and defend the honor of the Emperor and reinstate him as rightful ruller!
Play as one of the pro Shogunal clans and defeat those rebellious clans that want to destroy all power of the Shogun!
Or....maybe, you can take yourself control in Japan. Why bothering with those corrupt clans that support the Shogun or the Emperor?

This is a total conversion for Fall of the Samurai. And adds a lot of different art and units.

Subscribe to all 17 parts on Steam!
You also need a custom data.pack. Find that in here at the totalrtsmods forum[www.totalrtsmods.com]. This is important! Otherwise you can't upgrade some buildings and without that, you can't recruit some units.

This mod has VERY op units for the Japanese. The western line infantry SUCK in close combat so much that they will lose to the worst gun unit in the game even if they have 10 times there numbers. It makes siege battles very annoying and costly. Units have very very low morale and will break VERY VERY VERY easily if you dont have your commander right next to them.

Sub and activate the 17 parts, add/overwrite the data.pack and get a crash to desktop each time I choose a faction. Any help out there?

How do you recruit cavalry for France?

I found a fix for the naval bombardment ctd. I'm not sure how long this fix will last seeing as i've only played 1-2 battles using the feature. In the main menu go to options->sound->sound system and instead of using "windows default" either change it to stereo headphones or stereo speakers. Hope this helps!

What is up with the naval bombardments during land battles? It constantly crashes the game whenever it is used. Is there a solution to this?

I understand u don't update the mod for some reason. But crash during naval bombardment just makes it for nothing, cuz enemy keep trying to use it and make battle crash. Is it really so hard just to disable this ability for AI of even everybody? Turn 100+ and i cant go on. Wasted my time playing all along for nothing.
