Choose your war! These Game Modes are built exclusively for our Tuning Pack—crafted for bigger battles, smarter AI, and clear win conditions so every match feels epic and intentional.

Major Features:

  • Eight tailored Game Modes—pick Annihilation or Victory Point play with your preferred Battle Stage or Hardcore challenge.

    1. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS1]
    2. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS2]
    3. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS3]
    4. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [HC]
    5. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [BS1]
    6. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [BS2]
    7. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [BS3]
    8. WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [HC]

  • Three Battle Stages define the pace and tech curve:

    1. Battle Stage I (BS1): Infantry, light armor, artillery, and fortifying for later stages.
    2. Battle Stage II (BS2): Medium tanks and assault guns, with off-map bombardments to break lines.
    3. Battle Stage III (BS3): Heavy armor and heavy assault guns, with devastating off-map support.

  • High camera zoom for sweeping battlefield control.

  • Blue silhouettes removed for a cleaner, more immersive UI.

  • Intel Bulletins and Victory Strikes disabled to focus on core gameplay.

  • VP modes support 500, 1000, and 2000 points.

  • Enhances the AI of our Tuning Pack for tougher, smarter opponents.

Game Modes Description:


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS1]
  • "BS1" stands for "Battle Stage I."
  • Standard annihilation with refined AI.
  • Start with basic infantry and ramp into light armor.


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS2]
  • "BS2" stands for "Battle Stage II."
  • Start with 110 Command Points and 50 extra Fuel.
  • Destroy all enemy bases to win.
  • Open with infantry and support weapons, then field light and medium armor.


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [BS3]
  • "BS3" stands for "Battle Stage III."
  • Start with 125 Command Points, plus 200 Munitions and 150 Fuel.
  • Destroy all enemy bases to win.
  • Begin with infantry and support weapons, then escalate to light and heavy armor.


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): AN [HC]
  • "HC" stands for "Hardcore."
  • A punishing challenge—expect relentless AI pressure.
  • Destroy all enemy bases to win.
  • Start with basic infantry, then grow into light armor.


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [BS1]
  • "BS1" stands for "Battle Stage I."
  • Standard victory point mode with AI improvements.
  • Start with basic infantry and ramp into light armor.


WORLD AT WAR (Akula): VP [BS2]
  • "BS2" stands for "Battle Stage II."
  • Start with 110 Command Points and 50 extra Fuel.
  • Win by holding the majority of VPs or by base destruction.
  • Open with infantry and support weapons, then field light and medium armor.

Hey this is really solid, best mod on the workshop I'd say. I've noticed none of the decal remover mods work with any of your game modes, are you able to rectify this?
Just to confirm, they do work with other game modes.

One of the kick ass options you give us with this game mode is the 2000 VP ticket version... it makes for a really good balancing for certain difficult matchups... letting you get to higher command points without forcing you to go annihilation. Love it!

Fantastic mod! X2 resources ANNIHILATION is the only missing item in the list. It takes a long time to build your army so you must protect them like th eoriginal game but X2 resources would allow me to get a more Arcade game styile I would like to get. But awesome work so far!

All good akula_ace; you two have done a fantastic job.

This mod still plays great and I so wish RTS game designers would take notice on how you Creative Modders & Gamers at Heart design your mods and follow suit.

I do not want to take away from the Developers who have the resources to make such games, but at the same time it's the fantastic modders like you two Gents who add new touches to the game that I know the developers could do as well but somehow just don't get it. (DoW 3 anyone :steamfacepalm: )
