GCCM: Settlement Pack 02 [INCLUDED IN MAIN MOD]

This mod is now included in the main mod. I'm leaving it up just in case, but you should NOT be subscribed to this mod anymore with the latest version of GCCM.


Dear all, It is time for a new competition!
With the DLC “The Queen & The Crone” being released the 31 of May, we would like to invite you for a friendly but fierce prefab competition! The winner of this competition will make a single prefab (item, that can be used in the map making tool, Terry), that has to be themed around either the Queen or the Crone. The prefab should be usable for a custom map of either's home settlement.

There is no limit to how many items the prefab can consist of, but should conceptionally be one thing - so not a castle connected via a road to a temple. We would like to know who’s participating and will require at least 4 participants. The competition ends the 17/6 and the winner will be by popular vote. The winner will be awarded with a DLC of their choice or the next release by CA. This is the second settlement pack for GCCM. Please see the main mod page for more information!

GCCM adds custom settlement battle maps to the Mortal Empires & Vortex campaigns, you can read more about that on the main page.

On it's own this mod does not do anything, you NEED to get the main GCCM mod, which you can find here.

The steam workshop has a file size limit, which means that we have to split up the mod into multiple pieces once the mod grows too large. This is the first of these pieces. We will try to limit the amount of mods as much as possible, but we don't really have any choice at the moment.

If you're having issues with the mod please, first try the following:

• Make sure you're subscribed to the main mod, settlement pack 01 & 02 & the asset pack
  
• Resubscribe if you haven't tried that yet

Then answer these questions:

• Which settlement was it?
  
• Did this happen on Mortal Empires or Vortex Campaign?
  
• Which race was defending & which race was defending?
  
• Were you defending or attacking?
  
• Did either side have reinforcements?
  
• Was it a walled or unwalled settlement battle?
  
• When did it crash, exactly?
  
• Did it show a battle preview before crashing?

GCCM is fundamentally a colabarative project, where we incorporate the maps of many different creators into the campaign. The discord channel has been a great way for all of us to share our individual WIP maps and get feedback, and we want to use the GCCM project to help grow TWW's map making community. This is part of the reason that we started the GCCM Patreon, which we want to use to create competitions in order to incentivise and reward map makers.
