Japanese retaining walls made with stones. "Retaining wall" means artificial angled wall.

There are 2 variations: With Fences and Without Fences.

With Fences version is for roads and tracks near mountains or hills, the other is for multi purpose (see examples).

You can also use this with my Sea Defenses Network to make better seaside landscape.

Usage: Place them around steep hills, then use Move it, and put some plants as you like.
Tips: If you see overflown terrains from the wall, put roads under the wall and make them closer.

Network Tiling is required to make this more high resolutions.

You can find this in the landscaping tools.

日本の擁壁（ようへき）です。法面（のりめん）ともいえます。人工的に作られた斜面で、国内の様々な場所で見ることができます。

今回は山の斜面などに使えるフェンスありのタイプと、オールマイティに使えるフェンスなしの二種類をセットにしました。

うまく組み合わせることで、道路や線路の表現が無限大に広がることでしょう。
以前公開した日本の堤防と組み合わせることで、海側の表現も広まります。

主な使い方は、山に沿って擁壁を敷設した後、Move it!などで高さを整え、その後山と壁の間を草木で植えていくのが良いでしょう。

地面が飛び出てしまう場合には、下に道路を引いて近づけることで調整しましょう。

運河ツールに出現します。

推奨MOD：
- More beautification

- Quay Anarchy
- Decal Prop Fix

高さ：8m（フェンス有：12m）～16m（19m）

This does not act like a quay. And I'm thinking maybe you can use the terraforming tool asset twice? First place terraform tool the same height as the railway, so you can raise the terrain. Then build the retaining walls alongside the railway and adjust the height so that the top of the retaining wall is as high as the railway. Finally place terraform tool close to the retaining walls, but on the side that is farther from the railway. Lower the height of the terraform tool and you can make the retaining walls stand out than the terrain.
I am not sure whether this works because I don't know whether placing terraforming tools twice can force steeper terrain than normal conditions. Also you can try only place the lower terraform tools but fill the gap with surface network or ploppable asphalt (which I believe works).
If you build the retaining walls very close to the railway so that there is no gap, then you only need to use terraforming tools once. I am using this solution and it works.

Is it just me that Move It doesn't work for on this? I can bend and stretch the walls, but can't raise or lower the height or rotate.

It will be amazing if there is terrain version for this retaining wall. Like japanese sea wall but using this texture instead of full concrete
