Screaming Steel: Voice-over Pack

READ: This item is highly recommended, but not a necessity for playing Screaming Steel: 1914-1918.

Subscribing to this Workshop upload will overwrite the English, Canadian, Commonwealth HQ and some of the German voiceovers in the vanilla game. We fully recommend subscribing to this upload if you are planning on playing Screaming Steel, allowing you to experience custom tailored and period correct voiceovers. In order to revert back to the vanilla voices you can simply unsubscribe from this workshop item.

Due to an issue with how Day of Infamy handles custom voiceover files, this upload is the only way we can properly share our custom-made voiceovers. The pack contains a full set of custom-made voiceover recorded by two of the original actors from Day of Infamy and a replacement set for the German voiceovers from the base game.

If you face issues ingame where some of the voice lines are going static, cutting off or just acting weirdly in general, this can be fixed by going into ”steamapps\workshop\content\447820\1302281279” and deleting the soundcache file
