When you've just built a beautiful elevator but you feel like something is missing. That something is music to play from a sound block that will make your trip feel twice as long!

Would you also like a sound to play when you arrive at a floor and 'Objective Complete' just doesn't cut it? Well now you've got a 'ding' sound too!


This mod adds the song 'Local Forecast - Elevator' by Kevin Macleod and an elevator 'ding' sound so you can play them from any sound block in the game.

To use this simply select the sound block you want to play it from and then select LocalForecast-Elevator or Ding from the list of available sounds. For the sake of your sanity I would also suggest limiting the range of the sound block to only include the elevator itself and not your whole base.

The sound blocks are badly bugged in anything but offline mode, I can still get the music there but only rarely in multiplayer :(

for some reason only the bell sound works for me, can you check to see if the mod still functions with release version? @splitsie TY

You could set up lights that are in a group with the sound block that get activated by the sensor at the same time (or even just use the lights) but I think to be able to have 1 light that changes colour you'd need to use a script for that as a timer block and sensor probably wouldn't be able to do it effectively enough.

i got a problem with this idea, i'm deaf, so i cannot hear any sounds, is it possible for u to try see if u can use coloured light modes so i can know things are working?
