A green pad-mounted electrical transformer. Just a prop, has no power transmission capability.

A realistic power distribution mod would be nice. Where you have power generation, then large voltage transmission, then it goes to a substation, then it branches off to reguler powerlines into transformers that actualy supply buldings with power.

I just needed this as a prop for decorating certain areas and buildings, but I think I will also make a powered version like this to extend power grids in sparsely populated areas. Should be easy, there are other assets on workshop which have a similar effect.

These would be a great local power grid enhancement if they transmitted electricity in an area effect. Power line to the area, then strategically placed boxes to cover the actual area connecting it all together.
I wonder how hard it would be to add such an area effect to them would be?
