I said it was "shit hot". In Australia (at least in my generation) it is a good thing.
From the dictionary, including Collins, Cambridge, Urban and also Wikipedia, etc.
shit-hot
adjectivevulgar slang
adjective: shit-hot
excellent or highly skilled.
"I am now a shit-hot guitarist"
-----------------------------------------
I deleted the original comment meant to be a, perhaps funny compliment because it seems to have fallen to the wayside (failed to complete it's objective).
Mr Maison. I do apologise if my intended compliment offended you or anyone else. I will stick to "good" from here on in.
Saying something is shit is not a compliment, saying something this is THE shit, is.
BoxHead- Was that a compliment??
