Commander help mod

There is an option to turn on "Commander help" in the settings tab. It shows when ever a marine is low on ammo, which you can't see if the option is turned off. The problem is; it also shows a lot of other really distracting stuff that causes a lot of missclicks.
Is there a way to turn commander help on, but disable all the features except the "show ammo" thingy?

Okay I actually went ahead and made this mod, but it appears that the consistency check disables it on most, if not all, servers.

Why we're not allowed to get this, but custom crosshairs are, I don't know.
