You can manually edit the catalog yourself if you want, there is documentation on our website explaining how SE's files are organized and how the catalogs work.
Another problem I noticed when doing this (and which exists in the original files too - I was very careful to verify that), is that orientation of galaxies is often if not always wrong. Two easily verified examples are the Leo triplet (M 65, M 66, NGC 3628) and the Draco Trio (NGC 5985, NGC 5982, NGC 5981).
It is unclear to me if the problem is with the underlying data, or with the way the rotations are being applied within space engine itself. Mentally manipulating quaternions in my head is not easy for me, especially since I don't know the sense of the axis within the program itself.
