catching the monsters by surprise seems to benefit them more then the player. the player gets first turn (something they may have had in the first place) then the monster. then next turn the monster get to attack again hitting the player twice. in other words your more likely to get hit twice when you surprise a monster then not. anyone know a mod that fixes this?
