I'd like to make a mod...
Yes I'd like to make a mod. Not a huge but simple tweak that makes game more realistic.

1) less accurate and more blind fire - to make gun fight more chaotic and last longer

2) when enemy reacts gun shot they don't turn toward where the sound came from but they turn toward the door where enemy might come in.

3) 30% chances of enemy covering fire at the door when player open it.

Any tip or advice??

Moved to the appropriate board.
Hmm, it doesn't seem easy, but an overhaul.
Anyway I'll write some hints.

1a: "less accurate" would be possible by editing guns' accuracy or attack types bonuses.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DoorKickers2\data\equipment

1b: "more blind fire" would be possible by editing enemies' Traits chanceToBlindFire
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DoorKickers2\data\entities\humans_badguys.xml

If map makers use the default stats (in the official maps, 80% or so), it would work, but they can tune the chance by the map editor.
Then you have to overwrite the maps.
C:\Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/DoorKickers2/data/maps/data_store.zip/MAPNAME.xml

2: It seems AI tweaks.
You want to make enemies flee for a while, then join combat, am I right?
Here is the AI commands, but modders would not have free hands.

3: AI tweaks again.
