Ya, just going to be blunt hear. Losing 99% of your population to an event. Only to then have to deal with the europeans. Is in all honesty not fun. Specially when the game is so stacked against you. It then pretty much feels like the only way to win is to Try to break the ai. And even then it is nearly impossible to reach like 1600s tech level just due to the fact that you Lost all your populations From this one specific event. God help you if you get Another Plague or Another negative event.

Like to me being in the Americas should be all about early game expansion. North America is about colonization. While the south America is about consolidation the other tribes. So this to me feels So unnecessary. Regardless if it is historically accurate or not. Like your already being punished by being locked out of 85% of the tech tree. Why do you also need to Lose all your population.
