2. I allready got that cannot convert binary to text on some occasions, but it never broke the whole.
Can't remember well, but i think that if you forget to personnalize a blue actor, this may happen.
3. Did you modify something in your content/UGC/Work ?
This is the only thing that provided me to load my current UGC into the toolset on some occasions. (The whole, not a single sene broken while the rest loads)
Basiclly, it happened to me after erasing a scene or renaming it in my data file (after having cloned it), can't remember exactly.
An exemple of how i broke my UGC (no longer loading into the toolset) : i had created a "wrong" version of a custom merc. I thought i had replaced him with the proper one in all scenes where mercs are directly present on the map. Then i want to my content files and erased the wrong merc data. This broke my UGC, because i had kept one green actor in a hidden spot with the wrong merc feature. I had to redo things from my UGC save.
Do you remember what last actions or setting you modified in your scene before it refused to load ?
Now what you say about the blue actor might be significant. When I was copying the floor via shift-drag selection, it seems I also grabbed the blue "player start" icon, too. I erased the second copy when I noticed it, though.
I guess it just didn't strike me to save backups, though it really makes a lot of sense. Mostly, I figured I might screw up a scene for making a messed up trigger, or something. It didn't occur to me that the editor itself might have an issue. So I'll be backing up now.
The good news is, this was only a test map. I only drew in blank floor tiles. So, other than a fair amount of triggers, I didn't lose much.
Anyway what i said with the blue player actor is a little bit confusing. In fact, it seems that last time i has an issue, as well on a test scene using only Core settings, it was because i had placed my blue player on the wrong tiles. Placing it on floor tiles would make the scene unable to launch, placing it on ground tiles would be OK.
