i had uploaded 4 islands so far, and just uploaded my 5th tonight and had that exact issue.... it overwrote one of my previous islands. is there an alotment of how many islands we can have uploaded? all of my islands have been named different things, so theres no chance that i accidentally saved it as the same island.

i cant even get people to answer this on the regular discussion... my only option at this point is to try and send a bug report from ingame.... ill let ya know if it goes anywhere...

i have asked steam support to see if it was a steam problem since mine has gotten worse i cannot upload anything anymore and they said it is not a steam problem., so it has to be on their end hope they can do something about it, and lets hope you bug report get some traction's. would really like to be able to upload.

I created and saved an island yesterday. Today I continued editing it and uploaded it to the steam workshop, at least the system said that the island had been uploaded. But I can't load it into my world. I'm only shown yesterday's status with a standard name and not the name I gave it. Strangely enough, I can load the latest status again in the creator.

it sounds like it didn't save properly. i had an issue where i created an entire island, and when i went to save it the game froze and crashed, and i lost the entire island and had to recreate it from scratch....
while this did upset me, i have to remind myself that this game is still in early access, and states that the island builder itself is not yet up to par either. we gotta have some patience.... i understand it sucks... believe me, having an entire days worth of work lost in seconds is extremely frustrating.. but you can always recreate it and try again. just learn from mistakes.
as a rule i now save my progress every few minutes while building an island. that way if the game crashes on me at any point, i can always pick back up where i left off.

i would say, if the problem persists, i recommend joining the Aloft Discord channel that i posted above and submit a help ticket in there. people over there were much more active and helpful. and there's a possibility that maybe someone over there has had this problem and solved it already.
